Exquisplit is not dependent on specific hardware requirement or network. It can run on any version of windows.
3. Is it necessary to copy join.exe to the system while joining files from floppy disks?
Not at all, just double click the exe and follow the simple instructions. A help file is also provided for this purpose in the diskette
4. Why do I need a split software if I have utilities like Winzip ?
Winzip is handy when you have to compress the files .But certain formats like mp3 s compression percentage is very less and is not worth doing the operation. Moreover Exquisplit gives you an option to choose the split file size to your convenience.
5. Is Exquisplit completely foolproof while using floppy disks for splitting purposes?
8 on a scale of 10 . While almost all the diskette errors are handled with user friendly messages , disks with bad sectors can't be identified while splitting the file. You have to make sure that you are using a disk which is trust worthy.
